Rocky the Boler needed quite a bit of fiberglass work, the floor was sagging about 1 1/2 inches on the driver side and needed to be reset to the proper height…
This Boler door, like many didn’t fit well, so the previous owner trimmed it to try to even it out but failed… I talked to the customer about reshaping it to get a better fit, here is a short video showing the process,
I did this repair after I had reinforced the frame, there is no point in trying to fix a crooked Boler door until is on a straight frame…
In this video, I am working on a 1972 or older Boler Frame replacement. If the Plywood is in good condition, you won’t have to remove the interior to redo the frame. If your Boler floor is rotten the interior and floor must be removed, then replaced after the new frame is installed.

Most of the Bolers that come to me for a new Frame replacement, also require some fiberglass repair as well as this short video shows, this can be a small repair on the skirt to major repairs around the door and driver side similar to this Boler.
This is how I replaced a partially rotten plywood on a 1972 or older Boler Trailer, Most 1972 and older Bolers came with a raw plywood floor and have rotting issues, while you can install the raw plywood like on the original Bolers, I always recommend to fiberglass over the new plywood to make it water tight and to always fiberglass it to the wall top and bottom.
With the dozens of Boler Trailers that I have worked on, most require some door repair or reset, some are so bad they need a new custom Boler door, because of this I decided to make my own Boler door molds. I found that because of the age of Bolers and their poor frames the curve of the bodies by the door varies so much making each one different, because of this I made my outer door mold so it can be adjusted to follow the outer curve of each specific Boler body, this ensures the best fit on the new Boler doors that I make.
